Ahoy, I am back from my trip.
I just wanted to tell you about a few plug-ins I have just enabled at BlackhatWay.com
Do-follow and Commentluv. Now it’s really worth it to comment to the blog. Do-follow.. Well, disables no-follow from my blog passing the link juice to your site. And Commentluv shows your last blog post on your comment.
My blog doesn’t have too much traffic or pagerank yet, but probably and hopefully it will some day have.. And then it’s good to have a lot of comments written. 
Also if you haven’t noticed, there is also a top commentators -plugin which shows the link to the websites of the top 10 commentators of the month. So that’s another reason to comment.

I dont see value of do following comments…. its like opening your door to spammers….

@ Melvin - What it does is generates some traffic to the site as well as fills it up with a little more content. While it might create spamming it still gets people that might not have come without the do follow, mission accomplished! I doubt advertisers are concerned about how many of the visitors “spammed” the comments… they just want people to see and potentially act on their advertisements. It actually helps everyone.
I believe that I am able to handle the real spammy comments. And of course I would like people to comment only when they like my post, the comments made because of do-follow don’t matter that much. As long as they are not totally spammy and somehow add to the discussion.

Do follow and comment luv are nice…but have you seen keyword luv? Now that’s really nice - it lets you get a do follow link with keywords you like. People actually have names, and they actually get a link with anchor text. I have it on my blogs - all you do is enter your name like this on a comment: MyName@MyKeywords.
At any rate though it’s always nice to see someone else joining dofollow

I have comment luv installed on my other blog and sezwho installed on my main blog. I believe in thanking commenters who have taken the time to leave nice words on my blog and commentluv and sezwho are ways to do that instantly. thanks for the visit btw. Well, dofollow should bring you more traffic and comments… but it might hurt you with pagerank and stuff like that.

Switching to Wordpress would probably be your best choice of the year.
